Welcome to DaytonaBikeWeek.com…your information source for the Daytona motorcycle rallies!

Please join us for the 76th celebration of Bike Week (Daytona’s spectacular mid-March motorcycle rally). Our 75th anniversary rally was indeed a special event, and many of you from around the world are eager to return for the biggest and best biker party of them all! Bike Week is more than just Daytona Beach…as the surrounding communities of Ormond Beach, Port Orange, Ponce Inlet, DeLand, Port Orange, New Smyrna Beach, and Bunnell…roll out the welcome mat and invite you to the wonderful weather of Florida in March.

And make sure you plan to attend the very special 25th celebration of Biketoberfest (Bike Week’s sister event) in mid-October, a tradition since 1993. Although Biketoberfest 2017 is officially October 19-22, many attendees will arrive early to enjoy the typically perfect October Fun Coast weather and “early bird festivities”.

The Daytona Beach area is biker-heaven year round with great climate for riding and many businesses and venues that cater to and entertain bikers 24-7. Each March, hundreds of thousands of bikers gather along the central Florida coast around Daytona for the annual 10 day rally/festival to enjoy the Florida weather (and the 4-day Biketoberfest in October), the views of the Atlantic Ocean, non-stop entertainment and exhibitions…and the largest gathering of motorcycle enthusiasts, manufacturers, and suppliers on the east coast.

Make your plans to attend…and use DaytonaBikeWeek.com as your guide and information resource for the best that the Daytona Beach motorcycle rallies have to offer.

Since 1937, a Brief History

daytona200 The first Daytona Bike Week was January 24, 1937 – the inaugural running of the Daytona 200. The first race took place on the sand just south of The World’s Most Famous Beach on a 3.2 mile road course. Ed Kretz of Monterey Park, CA was its first winner, riding an American made Indian Motorcycle averaging 73 miles an hour. A tradition was established and the rest is history. Now, a 10-day festival, the event has spread from Main Street into other areas around Volusia County.
